I bought this range in 2006 because I wanted the control of a gas stovetop, and the benefits of a convection oven. This range fits the bill! The two ovens are also very useful. We use the small (top) oven over 80 percent of the time - it preheats quickly and is the perfect size for baking pizzas or breakfast casseroles. It can fit up to two pies. When cooking for larger groups, the larger (lower) oven easily holds a turkey or large ham, plus two side dishes, and the top oven can serve as your warming drawer, or to bake rolls or pies.
Another reviewer mentioned the ignition sparking while the burners are off. We also had this problem. It was caused by humidity (or water) getting into the electrical circuits after we had washed/cleaned the range and knobs the previous night. We simply unplugged the range, turned off the gas, and removed all the knobs to make sure they would air-dry before we left for work. When we got home from work, we plugged the range back in, reassembled the knobs, and turned the gas back on. We haven't had an ignition issue since. Just make sure you dry everything well after washing/cleaning and before reassembling.
