Pros: These headphones are very lightweight & comfortable

The Bottom Line: If you want this sound quality, buy an AM radio. These define low quality.

| cmcary's Full Review: Audiovox JW-160 Wireless Headphones |
I recently purchased a pair of Jensen JW-160R headphones from Circuit City because I like to work with headphones on and I was tired of turning around quickly and having my traditional headphones get yanked off when they were caught on something. I saw this pair at Circuit City and decided to go with them despite the fact that they were slightly more expensive than another pair. They claimed to carry a signal across 300 ft because they are sending the signal at 900MHz. What I assumed was that they meant they carried a signal well across 300ft. I could not have been more wrong. I hooked them up in my bedroom when I got home and could not get a signal that sounded better than an AM radio station when I was 10 feet away from the antenna. I tried using both channels and playing with the fine tuning knob and still could not get a clear signal. The only good signal I could get was either a sermon being broadcast on an AM radio station or the wireless microphone being used by the church down the street. I brought them to work assuming that maybe it was the wiring in the house that was interfering. Unfortunately, my luck got even worse at work. I'm returning these ($60 for AM radio...no) and going back to my wired headphones.
