Jergens Skin Smoothing Lotion has a pleasant smell unlike most I have tried. The lotion gently exfoliates dry flakes and leaves your extra dry skin looking soft and healthy. It gently exfoliating dry skin flakes and absorbs beneath the skin's surface to help replenish lost moisture.
Jergens Skin Smoothing Lotion is a a lotion and a moisturizer. That is a plus for me as I do not have to buy and use two different products.
It contains Beta Hydroxy, Alpha Hydroxy, and Vitamin E.
Beta Hydroxy and Alpha Hydroxy help to restore a smooth look and feel by gently exfoliating dull dry skin.
Vitamin E is an antioxidant that helps sooth dry skin and restore smoothness.
It comes in three formulas, Dry, Very Dry and Extra Dry.
I prefer the Extra Dry. The bottle size I use is 24 oz and it is a pump bottle so I do not have to mess with trying to get a cap off. That is a big plus for me.
Ok now you know about it and what it is made of how does it work. It works excellent. I have very sensitive skin and am very limited to what I can use. Jergens is the only body lotion I have used that does what it says and does not break my skin out.
I apply after my shower each day. And it leaves my skin smooth as a babies all day. I do reapply Jergens Lotion to my hands thoughout the day. But for the rest of me I only have to apply it once a day.
If I go more then two or three days not using Jergens Lotion I can see the effects. My skin is dry and flaky. But as soon as I apply Jergens Lotion is it smooth and the dry skin flakes are gone.
This is a good product if you have sensitive or prone to dry skin.
