So we have all experienced it right? After a long, cold winter, you try on that bathing suit, and oh my god? What is that on your inner and outer thighs? Could it be? No it couldn't be CELLULOSE??? YUCK!
Well for most of us, yes it is. It's those winters of sitting on the couch watching all of those Julia Roberts movies, or better yet, all the hours of sitting at the computer writing epinions eh? And did you ever think at the time, while writing that few hundred reviews, you would gain the equivalent of a tub of cottage cheese on your thighs??? Not to mention that your skin is probably dry from the cold and dry air throughout the winter.
I have found a great remedy! I won't call it a solution, because we all know that the only solution really is to get off of our fanny's and get moving. But Jergens has come to our rescue atleast with a tidbit of help.
I have always used moisturizers, and infact love to keep my skin smooth and soft with any kind of lotion that is on the market. Anything that usually smelled good, was ok with me. I really didn't descriminate because, lotion is lotion right? I mean, they basically all have the same ingredients, that work pretty much the same, right? Well when I saw the commercial for Jergens skin smoothing moisturizer, I knew it was worth atleast a try. So I went and searched it out in the store about the first week it was actually released. I have been using it ever since.
This lotion has shown me some improvement in the jelly like appearance of my thighs. It has given me some improvement in the texture of my skin, as well as giving it moisture and keeping a supple, soft appearance. My results happened within 4 weeks of using this product. I have not exercised over the winter like most, but have used this product and I am thoroughly pleased. Not that it totally eliminates the accumulation of cellulose, but it does give the skin a more sleek looking appearance.
Jergens skin smoothing lotion also has kept my skin from drying out. Occasionally when I have dry patches of skin, I just dab a bit on, and the roughness soon fades. The fragrance is light and smells nice. I also have normal skin type and have not had any problems with this lotion giving me any allergic reactions. However if you have sensitive skin, I would recommend trying this on only a small portion of your skin.
I have found that using this product after a shower is the best. I usually use it after also using a loofah and skin scrub. This exfoliates and prepares your skin for the application of the moisturizer. In my opinion, it just simply works better. If your skin is properly prepared for the lotion, then the moisturizing product has a chance to work for you in other ways. I also use this after shaving my legs. It seems to give my legs a really soft feel and keeps them from drying out after shaving.
Jergens also is a great buy. You get a lot of lotion for a small price of about 3.99. The bottle is 15.5 oz and to me that is great as usually other lotions come in smaller sizes for the same price. This lotion comes in an easy to use pump bottle, and makes application simple.
I would recommend this product to any woman who is looking to improve the appearance of her skin. If you try it you too will see the difference!
