| whitephatt's Full Review: Casio G2310-1V Wrist Watch for Men |
I got this as a Christmas present last year. The watch was a little ekcentric to set (in my opinion), but when you've got so many functions packed into a watch I have to give them credit for making it as easy to work as they could.
It took a little bit of getting use to size and weight wise. I would say, by the end of the 2nd week it wasn't any big deal. Now I can't imagine having anything smaller.
Between the features: Dual Time Zones, Stopwatch / Chronograph, Alarm, Date Display, World Time, Timer, Thirty page datebook
****Don't buy this watch for the datebook function. There aren't enough buttons to make it decently easy to work with.****
The rest of the functions operate similar to any other watch, and I've been very happy with their workability.
The backlight is bright, and the little solar cells around the face really do charge the battery. Out of my own personal curiosity I pressed the backlight button about 200 times in a dark room and ran the little battery gauge down to about half then took it outside, and sure enough the battery was fully charged within an hour or so.
This watch is built like a tank. I don't think I abuse my watches like some people, but it has been given it a few good whacks, and given a bath on more then one occasion.
The only thing I wish that this watch had was a way to clean it easier. In every corner it seems to built up junk (especially around the face, and the silver ring). I try to clean it with a toothpick and such which seems to do a decent job without threatening scratches to the silver, or acrylic face.
