| firesgar's Full Review: Movado Museum Sports Edition 604702 Wrist Watch fo... |
Normally I am not the type to go spending 700 dollars on a watch, but a funny thing happened that gave me the added incentive to purchase my Movado. Last August, I won a poker tournament with 500 people, that paid me 4800 dollars. I decided it was time I bought something I had wanted for a long time. I bought myself a blue Movado Sports Edition Mens watch. It is the best thing I've ever purchased.
In Orlando, there is a Movado factory store that sells them at a discounted price. I knew when I went there that this was the watch I wanted. The staff was very courteous in helping me get my watch fitted, and it took no time for them to remove a set of links to fit the watch to my hand perfectly. I was set.
On my way out I started to examine the watch a bit more closely than I had when seeing it on the internet or in the store. One of my favorite things about the watch is the clasp. When closed onto your wrist, the watch looks seamless, as the clasp is covered up when locked in place. The band of the watch is a rough silver look with shiny polished center points on each link that looks very cool. One thing I found a bit difficult, was setting the time on the watch because the dial was a bit tough to get out of its place, but I consider that to be a very minor problem. As all Movados do, mine came with a warranty and a Movado card that guarantees the watch from flaking and mechanical defects and also instructions on where to go to get the watch fixed should anything happen. The time piece itself has a minute and an hour hand, but no time marks on the watch, however I still find it easy to tell time with it.
This is a very good looking watch that I would recommend for anyone. Don't let the price scare you; its MSRP is 1050 dollars, but you can easily find it on the internet or at a local shop for under 600 dollars. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
