Pros: Tight turning radius, good hydraulic flow, hydrostatic model is easy to use, excellent power
Cons: Only one...no cup holder!!!

Owned mine for two years. Excellent tractor. Glad I purchased this model. Turns tighter than many garden tractors!! Easy and fun to operate. Can't get my wife off the thing!!!
I strongly recommend the hydrostatic transmission over the gear model. Drive them and you'll see that the $1500 extra for the HST model is well worth it!
Fuel consumption is approximately 1/2 gallon per hour.
The purchase price I have quoted included a John Deere 647 tiller, ballast box, 60 inch mower,and a 410 loader with 53 inch quick-attach bucket and bucket level indicator. I would not hesitate in recommending these implements and accessories...they were truly made for this tractor
Mowing quality with the belly mower (or mid-mount mower) is better than my 2004 Dixie Chopper zero turning radius mower which was manufactured solely to mow!
At the time I bought the tractor and implements, John Deere blew the competition away with $400 off each implement/accessory purchased, regional rebate incentives, and 6.9% financing for 72 months. Competitors could not touch the deal or the interest rate for the term when I purchased. The deals may be even better now.
