Pros:Very simple to use Cons:Several mechanical problems. The Bottom Line: If all are like mine, I'd suggest another model. At least buy the extended warranty!
I've owned a 155 since April 1998. It is very easy to use. The hydrostatic transmission is a great way to come and go. The feel is ergonomic and the power is ample. We bought a JD snow plow attachment and we were amazed at its ability to remove a large amount of snow (18-20") taking appropriate sized bites until we were at the ground. It needed chains for extra traction though. When it works it works well. We've had transmission related problems where the tractor barely backed up. The steering broke and the charging system failed to recharge the battery. We bought the extended warranty and without it we'd probably have spent over $1500 in repairs. We do not abuse it or use it for more than what attachments are available. I think ours was a tad heavier on the lemon yellow than the John Deere green.
