Pros: Softens hair and eliminates "some" frizz.
Cons: Greasy and expensive.
The Bottom Line: This product is NOT worth the price you pay, and their advertising is mighty misleading.

| bananasnmilk's Full Review: John Frieda Frizz Ease Hair Serum |
There have been many commercials on television lately for John Frieda's Frizz-Ease Hair Serum. After seeing the "dramatic" changes in the models on television. I decided to give the Serum a try.
I purchased a 0.8 fl. oz. bottle of the Extra Strength Serum for approximately $6. This was more than I was interested in paying for something new, but I am willing to pay the price if a product works.
The first time I used the product, I was annoyed with the greasy glaze it left on my hands. Even washing my hands with warm water and soap didn't seem to clear the oily residue. It made me think, if a product does this on my hands, what will it do to my hair? Yet, I still tried the Serum on my hair.
The product's directions are to use a "quarter size amount" on, "soaking wet hair (squeeze out excess moisture, but DO NOT TOWEL DRY)." I did as directed. Sadly, this just left my hair soaking wet and greasy for half of the day since I usually let it dry naturally. When my hair did manage to dry, it was soft, but completely unmanageable. When I pulled it into either a braid, or ponytail, my hair looked fine, but left down and natural, I had flyaways, and static cling!
The last few times I have used the Hair Serum, I have towel dried my hair, and it has seemed to help some with the long drying time and greasy residue.
After using Frizz-Ease Extra Strength Hair Serum for about 3 weeks, my hair is unusually dry feeling even during shampooing. Extra conditioner has been needed to "repair" my hair.
