jade_stone's Full Review: John Frieda Frizz Ease Hair Serum, Extra Strength ...
I have waist length, extremely thick, coarse, naturally curly hair. Frizz isn't something that just happens from time to time. It's an every day fact of life with my hair.
I bought a bottle of Extra Strength Formula Frizz Ease Hair Serum last summer, in hopes it might help with the frizz. The bottle says "To smooth & control chronic, unruly frizz". The directions say to use after washing on wet or towel dried hair. "Use sparingly .... dime sized amount" and then leave it in. It takes me about a dollar's worth of dime sized amounts to get it through all of my hair, but the results are great. The lightly floral scented serum tames the frizz! My flyaway hair goes from fuzzy mess to flowing mane with no other product added.
Considering most products of this nature seem to have the consistancy of treacle, I am very happy to report that the Frizz Ease serum does not cause my hair to feel like a pot of syrup was poured on it. The only noticable greasiness I have found has been on my forehead under my bangs, the morning after. Small price to pay for a product that rids me of frizz and doesn't make my hair look like I rubbed it down with goosefat. Speaking of price, this product is readily available at a number of retailers for under $15. I paid $12 plus change, and consider it well worth the purchase price.
