| WendyKorn's Full Review: John's Pizzeria |
While the original John's in Greenwich village has the ambiance of a pizza place, in the theater district west 44th street location it is a dining experience ... the renovated victorian church maintains beautiful stained glass windows. It might be a bit pricey for pizza but it's a real buy for dinner in the theater district ... you can have dinner and drinks without spending a fortune, which is a rarity in that area. The wait can be long at times so get there early, put your name on the list, have a seat at the bar and watch the crowd. The thin crust pizzas are out of this world and the service is friendly.
