After several years of marriage, my wife and I decided that we need to add a little "zest" to our intimate moments. We took a look at some of the vibrators out there, and there are a LOT of them out there! Some of them can be downright intimidating. The rabbits, the clitoral stimulators...it can be a bit much if you have never used one before. We opted to try the Doc Johnson Personal Mini Massager.
This vibrator had a lot going for it for newbies. First of all, it was cheap. At less than $10 it was much less expensive than other products. If my wife did not enjoy it, we would not be out much money. Secondly, it is small. We still have small children in the house and wanted something that we could hide from little, curious hands. For my wife, the smaller size made her much more willing to try it. It is also pretty simple. With only one speed, the only thing to learn was "on" and "off".
The next logical question is - did it work? Absolutely! We have had a lot of fun with this small investment. The vibrations are strong enough for her to feel without being too strong or overwhelming. The shape of the vibrator is perfect. The vibrating end is rounded and thinker than the other end; however, you can use either end and get a different kind of pleasure as a result. It has taken my wife to new heights of extacy (which has paid off for me as well!) and has given us a whole new world of experimentation to enjoy.
At less than $10, you have to wonder how long it would work. We have had ours for about six months, and used it more than once a week (and that's just what I know about). It takes one AAA battery and we have only had to replace it one time. The vibrations are just as strong today as they day we got it.
In short, if you want to get into the world of sex toys but don't know where to start, this vibrator is a good, non-threatening product that can help break the ice. It is a good stepping stone to newer and more exciting things at a very low price.
