Pros: Cute bottle, Detangler
Cons: Can't tell by looking when bottle is nearly empty
The Bottom Line: Toddlers aren't cute and cuddly anymore, they shouldn't smell like a sweet baby.

| xyzwyatt's Full Review: Johnsons Buddies No More Tangles Easy-Comb Shampoo |
I have been using Johnsons Baby Shampoo Detangling Formula for awhile and finally ran out. While looking for a replacement I noticed Johnsons Buddies No More Tangles Easy-Comb Shampoo which looked like a stage 2 product. When I say I noticed it, I mean that the bottle really grabbed my attention. It is bright yellow and curved on one side. The bottle seemed appropriate for my girls ages 2 and 5. It is short and with the curved side makes holding very easy. There is a fat yellow lid that pops up.
The shampoo is absolutely clear in color. It has a fresh scent, perhaps an apple/peach, but the fragrance is not noticeable for very long after washing. I have been using the baby shampoo for so long, its nice to have a more grown up smell for my little ones.
The bottle that I got was only 8.4 ounces but I didnt mind because I no longer have to worry about the bottle being knocked over and toppling into the bathtub. The bottle is suitable for little hands so would be appropriate for a child that is learning to wash their own hair. The color and the smell is neutral so would be appropriate for either a boy or a girl.
I like the no more tangles formula because I don't always get a chance to use conditioner. This contains detangling conditioner so probably only one product will needed. I believe that the product works well because my toddler goes into the tub with chunks of food, lollipop residue, and yogurt smeared in her hair. This takes care of it easily in one wash.
One of the main reasons that I buy this brand is because I know that it doesnt irritate their eyes. They already despise having their hair wash so I dont need any screaming kids wailing about soap in their eyes.
The product says allergy tested however it does contain fragrance. My children have eczema and very sensitive skin and havent had any problems with their skin while using the shampoo.
I compared this to the baby detangling shampoo and they are nearly the same, only 2 ingredients off. I would suspect you will find similar results. I thought the Buddies suds up better, rinsed out a little better, and smells different. This shampoo works just fine on my dirty-hair girls which both have fine hair.
There are about 7 other items that complement each other in the Buddies line such as a bar of soap, shampoo, conditioner, tangle spray, and face wash.
Ingredients as quoted from the bottle: Water, Polyquaternium-4, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, PEG-80, Sorbitan Laurate, Sodium Trideceth Sulfate, Decy Glucoside, PEG-150 Distearate, PEG-12 Dimethicone, Glycerin, Fragrance, Tetrasodium EDTA, Quaternium-15, Sodium Hydroxide, Red 40, Red 33.
