Pros:Soothing, relieves stress, leaves feet feeling soft and smooth.
Cons:Could use a better scent.
The Bottom Line: Go back to basics and give your feet a good, old-fashioned soak.
I have been having problems with my feet lately. Maybe its because one of my new jobs has me on my feet more. Maybe its having to wear hose/socks and closed in shoes. I swear I was not born to wear either. My feet are at there best naked and in sandals. Im so glad that here in South Texas we only have to deal with winter for a short time.

I had bought foot scrubs and lotions but my feet were actually tired as well as peeling and calloused. Queen Helene Footherapy Foot Scrub, Cranberry Mint took care of that part but my feet were still sore. I decide to buy a soak and when I was shopping at Walgreens, I decided to go back to basics and buy Johnsons Foot Soap, an old favorite of mine that I used when I was pregnant years ago.
Soap, Sodium Sesquicarbonate, Sodium Borate, Sodium Bicarbonate, Caramel, Potassium Iodide, Bran, Iodoform
This product comes in an Orange box of 8 one ounce packages, enough for 8 soaks. I bought this product from my local Walgreens for $4.79.

This product has been in circulation for over 100 years and has crossed my path a few times in life. I had used this product when I was pregnant as my feet and ankles were very sore during that period and it helped then.
These small packets contain a 1oz portion of powder that you soak in hot/warm water. The scent is not offensive but it is neither floral nor medicinal. I usually get the water as hot as I can stand it and throw a packet in swishing it around for a few seconds. The product dissolves quickly and you can feel the waters consistency change to a sort of satin feel to your feet.
I soak my feet for at least fifteen minutes and add a little hot water during that time. There is nothing like a good foot soak when your feet are sore and you need to relax. This product literally lifts the stress out of your feet and it leaves them soft and smooth. I usually add a light foot cream and I feel renewed.
I am tempted to take a bath in this product as it recommends but have not done so yet. However, if it makes the body feel as good as the feet, it will have a great effect on you.
This is an oldie but goodie for the feet. I have used it in the past for my sore feet and ankles and it has repeated its great results when I used it again recently.
I had forgotten about Johnsons Foot Soap and I am glad it crossed my path again. I would recommend it for anyone with sore feet. It relieves pain, itching and discomfort and also leaves your feet smooth and soft.
If you have diabetes or poor circulation, consult your doctor before using this or any other product that involves immersing the feet in hot water.
