Pros:● Fresh, and clean smelling

Cons:● The product may cause serious problems for people with allergies, and asthma
The Bottom Line: If you're looking for a relaxing bathing experience, and you don't suffer from asthma, or allergies check out Johnson’s Softwash Calming Body Wash.
Warning: Geek alert! Im one of those nerdy-type moms that test all hygiene products on my skin before subjecting my family to new items. A few weeks ago, I picked up a bottle of Johnsons New Softwash Calming Body Wash, which allowed me to indulge in a rare soak in the tub. Sorry folks, no potty humor here, just my account with fabulous find.
Softwash Calming Body Wash is liquid body soap designed for babies. This soap isnt like hand soap. The consistency is thick, and creamy more like a liquid lotion. That makes sense, as Johnsons states that its made with 1/3 baby lotion. Its white in color, and produces a mild lather. Johnsons also claims that the body wash has a warm, soothing scent. Im not sure what a warm scent smells like, but its definitely relaxing to me. The body wash is available in two sizes: 8.4 fl oz, and 13.5 fl oz. Its packaged in a squeeze-type bottle with a flip-top lid. The lid is placed on the bottom of the bottle, so it easy to squeeze out every drop. To use, pour on your hand, or a wet washcloth. Lather, wash, and rinse.
Safety Warning:
Keep out of reach of children. Do not use without consulting doctor if your have asthma or allergies. Serious problems could occur.

My Experience
The in-the-bottle smell is fresh, and gentle, similar to Johnsons Bedtime Bath, although a much milder version. I dont associate the scent with the typical baby-fresh smell; however, its definitely baby appropriate. This is probably a good thing for those wanting a mild soap; yet dont want to smell like a baby. Johnsons Softwash Calming Body Wash is rich, and velvety to the touch. One only needs a small amount to do the job. It leaves the skin feeling clean as well as soft, and I didnt detect any soap residue. The lather is mild, which I prefer. It foams up enough to clean the skin, yet its not too sudsy to rinse a wet, and wild baby. Once rinsed, and dried the soap leaves a slight scent on the skin, yet it does not linger long. I use both the Johnsons Softwash Calming Body Wash, and the Bedtime Bath in conjunction with one another, and the bathroom, and my boy smell heavenly.
When I first used the product, I actually washed my body, and my face, so I could test the No More Tears claim. The soap actually got in my eyes, and it was irritating. It only lasted a second, or two, and it didnt produce tears. I am pleased with the result, as this soap is not a baby shampoo; therefore, its not apt to get in my sons eyes. I definitely recommend this product to anyone wanting a relaxing bathing experience, although I caution people with allergies, and asthma, as the product may cause serious breathing problems. I purchased the 13.5 fl oz size at Target for 3.89. I think thats a steal, for the calming qualities, and lotion-like results.
