Pros: Price. Not much else.
Cons: Tangles hair. Difficult to rinse
The Bottom Line: Washing your hair strand by strand would be the only way you can avoid the tangles this shampoo creates.

| 42ENGLISH's Full Review: Joico Silk Result Shampoo Normal |
I had found Joicos Silk Result Shampoo in a shampoo-conditioner-instant smoother trial size pack with 80 percent off the regular price, which meant I paid a whopping $1.94. Who could resist? I know I couldnt. It was the first time I had used a product from this company so I was excited to find out just what kind of a bargain I had made here. I bought it from the mall at our local Trade Secret Beauty Supply store. It sat right between the Paul Mitchell and Redken products so I figured it couldnt be so bad.
Normally, this shampoo comes in a 10 fl oz pink, plastic bottle with a flip-top cap at a price of $9.99. Its consistency is thick and pearly and its vague scent is soapy fresh.

My Experience:
Hmmm
dont see many natural ingredients here. That sets an alarm off for me. More chemicals mean more build-up as far as I am concerned but anyway, what the heck. I wet my hair and applied about a quarter-sized amount. This shampoo lathered up pretty well but then the lather subsided somewhat as I massaged it in. That was kind of weird. Most shampoos either lather or they dont and when they do, the lather doesnt subside, it usually increases. After rinsing, I knew I was not going to like this shampoo. My hair was so tangled; it felt like a birds nest. I had a huge knot of hair on the back of my head. It was even difficult to rinse the soap out because I couldnt run my fingers through my hair to release it. This product did clean my hair and did not affect the color at all but did not set the stage for smoothing at all.
In Conclusion:
I thought I was getting a real bargain when I picked up this three-pack. A simple three-step approach to smoother, manageable hair. Instead, the first product I used really disappointed me. At this point, I was just glad I got it for next to nothing. I didnt like the smoother, I didnt like the shampoo. My hair was left in tangles. I am lucky that the one product I had not used, the conditioner, was a far better quality product than these and fixed the problem.
Thank you for reading.
