| susidee34's Full Review: Justin Case Travel Pro Emergency Kit |
I do a fair amount of long distance highway travel between NC and Ohio and I won’t be bashful about saying I am totally illiterate about the workings of an automobile. The only three things I know are how to fill the gas, where to get my oil changed, and how to call AAA if I’m in trouble. My car has recently decided to go on a pouting spree because, other than trips to Ohio, it basically sits unattended. Now it wants to let the battery die down, even though it is a new battery. With that in mind, I recently purchased a Justin Case Travel Pro Emergency Kit. I think the name is very clever.
What Justin does for me: ~decently organized travel case that unzips and folds flat to expose the contents ~it is expandable so you can add further components if you desire ~bottom has Velcro which keeps it in place on the trunk carpet and it isn’t sliding all about ~One free 24-hour roadside assistance [you can purchase a package if you desire] ~8’ booster cables, 10 gauge ~12’ tow rope with 4500 pound capacity ~12 ounce GUNK tire inflator/sealer [non-flammable] ~flashlight w/batteries ~signal cone for flashlight ~19 piece first aid kit ~poncho ~pair cotton knit gloves ~water bag ~SOS banner ~10 cable ties ~6 moist towelettes
All this is enclosed in a case of polyester that measures 11” x 10” x 8”. My piece is black and red but it is also available in black and blue. The zipper is heavy duty nylon and the handles are heavy braided nylon. Overall, I couldn’t be more pleased with the construction and the contents of the bag.
I also like the fact it is expandable so I can include maps or other items, like snacks during winter travel time. I have always believed in carrying appropriate snacks and drinks when traveling because you never can tell what will happen and it never hurts to have some staples, just in case, pardon the pun.
It is my decided hope that I never have to utilize this product and it remains happily ensconced in my trunk until the towelettes are no longer moist. However, it doesn’t hurt to have these items readily available, especially for a single woman traveling alone.
Justin Case also makes other emergency kits with more items included as well as emergency first aid kits. For those that are interested, they will also produce the item for you with your company logo, or your own personal logo if you have one.
This would make a decidedly decent gift for a student leaving home or for those of us that have children flying the nest. It is a compilation of items that a first time car owner probably wouldn’t think of purchasing but will be eternally grateful for having if the need arises.
Thanks, Susi
My gratitude to the hardworking H&G crew for their speedy addition for this item which will now join the others in the Lean-n-Mean VIII writeoff.
