ME - 33 and have ski'd for over 20 years. 6' tall and 190 lbs. Previous skis were Rossignol Synergy's (as in just barely shaped)

I demo'd a few different types of twin tips last season both long ones and short and had a pretty good idea of what I wanted before I purchased 179cm '06 Public Enemy. I was looking for twin tips (as I teach sking backwards most of the time) that worked best in the packed powder of the steeps but could easily whip up on the youngin's in the park as far as big air is concerned. I was initally drawn to twin tips because they work so well as powder skis without actually being powder skis. The wide waist makes a big difference on all surfaces.

I was torn between the 179 and 169 and eventually settled on the longer ski as I feel like the longer ski is more of an all around ski. Its early so the parks wern't all up and running at Kirkwood last week so I did the all mountain tour on mostly packed and groomed powder instead.

Bumps - Were still thin, icy and rocky at the top of Kirkwood but I was still able to bomb it without too much extra effort. Can't really blame the ski here as they are a bit longish to me for icy moguls. I did find them forgiving here but the conditions suk'd to much to make a decent review.

Gladed - about 6 inches of crusty powder on top of a mostly 20 inch base. The Enemies really tore it up. Simply the most effortless runs through the trees in my entire life. The skis held a line perfectly and didn't plow at all. I would suspect these would make excellent back country skis.

Groomers - My friend has a set of old 205cm Super G skis. A few times we started at the top and just pointed straight down. The Enemies were very stable at speed and I even caught and passed him on the last run but mostly because he dropped his pipe. So for sure, the longer sizes are stable at speed and as before, effortless.

The Park - They only had a few rails set up but they behaved as a long set of twin tips should. More to come maybe after next week.

Overall I'm convinced most skis are going to look just like these in the future. I've been demo'ing skis for years and this shape is just right for almost all situations.
