Cons: Size does matter!
The Bottom Line: Great value. Superb picture quality. The color and clarity are unmatched in this price range. I just wish it was larger and had a digital interface.

Alright, I admit it...I was simply tired of my old 17" Acer monitor. After all, I had the monitor for years and all I needed was the occasional failing of the monitor to make me purchase a new one. After some homework, I chose the KDS Rad 5x. The difference between this and the Rad 5 is that the monitor and power cable are NOT combined. However, all of the other features are the same. I wanted a cool looking, functional LCD display without breaking the bank. The Rad 5x is all that and more. I have seen many LCD displays that just don't look crisp. I am not sure if the contrast is right or the dot pitch is wrong. In general (with the exception of the high end LCD's), I have not been impressed with the picture quality of affordable LCD's. The Rad 5x is an exception. The picture quality is excellent and the color and brightness are great. The monitor is exceptionally good looking and the gray matches the Sony Computer that I have. I wish that I could have bit the bullet and gone for the 7x but the price is so much higher. I would have liked a digital interface, but the analog seems very worthy.
