Pros:Great sound, easy to use and navigate, great for all users
Cons:VST plugin can be a bit quirky. Orchestra sounds aren't QUITE as crisp as Yamaha.
The Bottom Line: This keyboard is a blood-thirsty music machine! It can be enjoyed by someone who just wants it as a piano keyboard, or someone who wants to use it in production.
I've personally owned a Korg M50 and put it to extensive use for about a year now. This is one of those products where the company really thought about the customer, and put together a well rounded product. It can be as simple as turning it on and playing a beautifully toned piano, or as advanced as saving a user defined isntrument with effects attached to it and adjusted perfectly to your liking.

Piano tones that sound incredible for the price range.
Loads of effects, each with their own settings page to adjust them to your liking.
Innovative ways to control settings, including knobs for effects and a slider to control on screen settings.
Touch screen interaction where you'll be doing 90% of your navigation.
USB Midi, as well as standard Midi connectors
Korg VST plugin for your favorite sequencing program, that integrates with the keyboard
And a lot more!
How does it sound? This keyboard is a Triton LE on Steroids. What I can really admire about Korg is that they listened to the consumer complaints about what wasn't so great in the Triton series. Mainly, the pianos weren't good at all, and most of the orchestral instruments were, good, but not great. Also, drum kits weren't anything to brag about either. Korg improved all of these things, and really beefed up their keyboard for this price range. The M50 has beautifully toned pianos, some really cool sounding drum kits that sound much more full, the orchestral instruments are much better, and still they managed to keep their synth sounds sounding great. My experience with the Triton showed that it had some really nice sounding basses and synthesizer sounds, and the M50 is no exception.
I can't say enough good things about this product, I've loved it. The only complaint I have that stands out in my mind, is regarding the VST plugin. It does work great for what it's meant for. However, I had to stop using it because it would cause the keyboard to stop playing sounds. The only way to fix it would be to upgrade the firmware each time, which can be a hassle. I haven't looked for newer version of the plugin yet, but it's something to watch out for. Everything else is about this keyboard is simply awesome!
One last side note! I almost forgot to mention one of the things I was so happy about when I tested out this keyboard. Navigation was made so easy, between the touchscreen and just that everything is so easy to figure out and logical! If there are any Yamaha Motif/MO8 users out there who feel like you're always struggling with navigating the keyboard (as did I), navigating a Korg comes quite naturally and comfortably!
