The guns... (Reply to this comment)
by pippadaisy
I think it has something to do with having their own personal "gun" if you know what I mean.
I am the same way with them... no movies like that (except for the obligatory Toy Story set), no water pistols, no NOTHING and STILL the boy "shoots" and makes the "pew pew pew" noises. I wish I knew what could correct that other than making them girls. :)

Hey... speaking of Erector sets, I just saw one the other day, and nearly spite out my coffee. It was almost $100.00! Oh well, they're probably worth the price, but I was so shocked!

Oh Erector sets -- I wanted one so badly, but my mother considered them "boys' toys" and would never get us one. I had a good friend whose big brother had some, and I played with them a bit, but not as much as I might have liked.
I hope William likes it (I'm pretty sure he will). :)

I'm so glad you took the time to write on this. I've been looking at them for a later date, but I'm glad to know they are actually appropriate for 3 and up. William loves building, and creating.... and cars are a no-brainer with this kid. I'm definitely going to check this out for Christmas. Thanks!
Mary :)
P.S. Did you play with Erector sets too. I always snagged my brothers when he wasn't looking.
