Fasanating in the beginning... Boring In The end

Why we bought it... It looked cool
When we first saw the "K'nex Screamin' Serpent Roller Coaster" in the store we thought wow, its pretty cool. It looked tall and it looked like something that would be lots and lots of fun.

Setting it up... good family activity.
We bought it and got it home. I have to admit it is a pretty good family project if you have young kids and want to bring the whole family together. Well anyway it took 2 days to set it up, of course with an adults help. It does require batteries. I don't think adult supervision is required as long as the child is at the recommended age of 9 or over. I have to warn you that by the time you finish setting it up your fingers are going to be very soar.

Ease of use...Must have adult supervsion if the child is
10 or under.
Also if you run into this by accident or fall on it, it will all snap apart, it is pritty easy to reconnect though. Each of the plastic peices are very durable but the structure you make with them is not.

Using It... fast fading fun
At first it was really fun for them, with the sound effects and all, but then it does the same thing over and over every 10 seconds and it does get boring, just like any other toy does. Than after 3 days of use it started to make a horrible screeching sound. It still worked, but made a bad sound. I would recommend this only to kids who have a very long attention span as well as lots of patience.

Add Ons... You can make a whole amusement park
One good thing about this is that you can make a whole theme park. You can also by Ferris wheels, kiddy rides, boom rides, scrambler rides, etc. Its not like you just bye it and than your done.

I would only recommend this toy for kids who really like building or have a very long attentions span, and make sure you are willing to buy the ad-ons.
