Cons:pump-the pump!-KARCHER-the pump!! KARCHER & the pump
The Bottom Line: If I could give it a 1/2 star I would, save your money and shop for a better Pressure Washer. You get what you pay for comes to mind.
Ok no doubt about it, the G in the model number stands for garbage! I have had it for 3 years and must tell all you 4 and 5 star reviewers, stop it! Any real owner of this machine knows the pump problem and knows it well. KARCHER was way off the mark and should recall this unit or at the very least offer a replacement pump that works. I do not want to hear all the, maintaining talk, nor the 'there is a fix.'

I have taken out and serviced the the unloader valve so many times I can do it the dark. What I suspect the real problem is lies with the sub standard materials used to make this pump. Too much scoring and corrosion in the unloader's housing. Yes I have talked to KARCHER, yes I have seen the fix online, heard it first hand from Karcher, replaced the valve, twice, once on KARCHER once on me for $20. I should have had my head examined to pay that $20.
The question in everyone's mind should be, "Why do I have to fix a machine with 5 Hours of run time?" "Why do the PDF file manuals on KARCHER's web site differ from mine, calling for 'USA users only, recommend use of a pump saver for storage'?", "Why did I waste my time talking with KARCHER 7 times?", and "Why hasn't someone hired a lawyer for a class action suit?" KARCHER knows they have a problem!
My fix of this unit is to replace the pump with a better one with a proven track record of service. It will cost me $199 to do it and a couple hours of my time. At least I will have the satisfaction of spray painting over the KARCHER name with bright yellow paint and renaming it "NOW IT WORKS"
My comment of my long ranting, "Honda should be ashamed of itself." I had never heard of KARCHER, Honda engines of course. Checked out KARCHER on the web, they are supposed to be the leader in pressure washing equipment in the world. Honda should put some lateral pressure on them to fix their problems. I will never, every buy another piece of equipment with a Honda motor on it, just because there is a Honda motor on it.
