| Magick1's Full Review: Kashi All Natural Chewy Granola Bars Honey Almond ... |
I have been finding more and more Kashi items that I enjoy. Some granola bars are either unflavored or they are dry like cardboard. Kashi TLC bars are none of the previously mentioned!
I will normally purchase a variety pack in Costco or Sams Club. It will have 3 different types included, and the Honey Almond Flax bar is one of these.
The Bar
The bar is 1.2 oz and it about 3 ˝ inches long. Its a thicker bar than granola bars. It is about ˝ an inch thick. This bar is chewy and you can see solid pieces of almonds, oats and flax seeds.
Ingredients
Kashi Seven Whole Grains & Sesame blend (Whole: Hard Red Winter Wheat, Oats, Rye, Barley, Triticale, Long Gran Brown Rice, Buckwheat, Sesame Seeds)
Whole almonds, Brown Rice Syrup, Soy Protein Isolate, Soy Grits, Evaporated Can Juice Crystals, Chicory Root Fiber, Whole Flax Seeds, Evaporated Can Juice Syrup, Rice Starch, Corn Flour, Honey, Expeller Pressed Canola Oil, Vegetable Glycerin, Oat Fiber, Evaporated Salt, Natural Flavors, Molasses, Soy Lecithin, Peanut Flour, Whey, Annatto Color.
The product does contain wheat, almond, soy, peanut and milk ingredients and may contain traces of other tree nuts.
The bar does indicate that the exchange for this would be 1 carbohydrate and 1 fat, if you work with that type of dieting plan at all.

Overall Impressions
Kashis mission is that Everyone has the right to healthy food. They want people to make healthy changes and they produce their foods with minimum processing, and keep them free of highly refined sugars, artificial additives and preservatives. They feel that when you eat well, you will feel well.
I do enjoy eating the Kashi TLC bars. To date, I havent had a bar that I did not like. They have a lot of bars like a delicious Cherry Dark Chocolate, Honey Almond Flax, Peanut Peanut Butter, and Trail Mix. in their chewy bar line.
I have tried them all and found the top 2 for me were the Cherry Dark Chocolate and the Honey Almond Flax. If you are looking for a satisfying bar to eat, even for breakfast, you should check these bars out!
All of them are comparable in the calorie level and the amount of fiber and protein and they are all delicious! They offer a wide variety of foods ranging from snacks and bars (like crackers and granola bars), hot and cold cereals, frozen meals, to waffles. I have tried a variety of their items and have truly enjoyed their flavor and the way the products help me feel full and satisfied after eating them.
If you want more information about Kashi in general, you can visit their website at www.Kashi.com and you can find out more about the products, what they offer, challenges to make your life better, and community support. You can log into their site, become a member and receive special coupons in the mail occasionally. They will send surveys out occasionally as well. I believe I have received one a quarter.
If you give Kashi products a try, be sure to try different things. Eating healthier is a change of life and the flavor and texture might take some getting used to, but you will be happy that you did, as the products are more natural and healthy for you!
