Breakfast is rated as the most important meal of the day. Usually, people are either eating in a rush or not eating at all. Some pack items to prepare at work, others skip this meal due to time. You have to get yourself ready, possibly your family, drop kids off to school or daycare and then make sure you get to work on time. Who has time to have a leisurely breakfast, right?
When you do eat, you dont want to grab a pop pastry, as I really dont believe there is anything super healthy about them, but they are fast! What about oatmeal? We hear so many good things about oatmeal in the news. Oatmeal is great for your heart, gives you a hearty breakfast that lasts you through the morning and carries you to lunch, right? If you try Kashi GoLean Truly Vanilla Oatmeal, you will have a great breakfast!
The Product
The boxes usually come with 8 packages with instructions on each package. So, you can either take one or take in the whole box and know that you will have the preparations listed either way!
The oatmeal needs to be put in the microwave. You put in 2/3 cup of water and microwave for 1 minute on high, stir and then microwave for 30 to 60 seconds longer. They do advise just using the super hot water from a coffee maker does not cook the whole grains thoroughly.

Overall Impressions
This oatmeal, like most others, is very easy to make. The packet has everything you need included, except the water. I noticed when microwaving this oatmeal, I need to stir it after only 30 seconds. If not, it will bubble over! This could be due to the water that I use. It is the hot water from a coffee maker.
The oatmeal seems to last longer and keeps me fuller longer than some others that I have tried in the past. It has a great flavor and the vanilla is nice! It is a mild vanilla flavor and does not overpower you when eating it. There is a very tiny hint of cinnamon. The combination of both makes the oatmeal just sweet enough and it is not sickeningly sweet!
I do feel better after eating a wonderful breakfast like this, rather than a fast food breakfast. This doesnt sit like a lump in the bottom of your stomach, but, it gives you energy to keep you going all morning long!
If you want something good for you, easy to carry to work and has great flavor, this oatmeal should be one that you check out! Enjoy!
