Pros:Healthier, delicious breakfast that fills and warms you up!
Cons:It's a little more expensive, but it's healthier for you!
The Bottom Line: Very delicious, hearty, filling breakfast: gives you and your brain fuel to get to snack or lunch time!
Kashi is one of my favorites! I enjoy virtually everything that I have tried by them. Recently, I saw the Honey and Cinnamon Oatmeal when looking for something to keep in my desk at work so that I could be sure to eat a healthier breakfast each morning.
Kashi Honey and Cinnamon Oatmeal was one that I picked up and I am glad that I did! Everyone hopes to change or improve something with their new year! I am no exception. I hope to eat better and keep healthy for myself and my family! Kashi almost always is something I look for in the stores. It is a bit pricier than some other things, but, the sodium is usually low and the fiber, omega 3s and proteins are usually higher. This product does not state omega-3s, but it is packed with proteins and fiber in one small serving!
The Product
These are individually packed servings in the box, making it easy to store or carry to work
The packets have the instructions listed on them on how to prepare the cereal, so you dont have to have the box in your desk. But, taking the box in, you will have 8 packages inside! (The subject shows the 11.38 oz. box has 6 packages, but it is truly 8 packages!)
This is easy to prepare. You take ½ cup of water, mix in the package of oatmeal and microwave for 1 minute. Stir, and microwave 30 seconds to 1 minute longer, let sit and its ready to eat! You almost cannot be that for convenience!
If you want healthier, you will get healthier! This oatmeal packs a lot of nutrition in one tiny package!

Overall Impressions
I enjoy breakfast and I want to try eating a heart-healthy breakfast. This particular oatmeal is delicious and filling. I think I would enjoy a little more cinnamon and honey to sweeten it up just a touch. But, overall, its a very good flavor combination.
You can see the whole grains when you make this. Be sure not to just use the hot water from a coffee maker (like you can with say Quaker Oats Instant Oatmeal). The whole grains will not cook or open and it will make the oatmeal a bit crunchy or chewier than if the oats and grains were cooked and open!
The flavor is nice, albeit a little bland. You have a slight grainy flavor, and a little touch of honey and cinnamon.
If you dont like a really sweet oatmeal, or if you want to eat healthier, Kashi should be the oatmeal that you should purchase and try! They have Truly Vanilla or Honey and Cinnamon in this style of oatmeal. They have a tremendous amount of items from crackers, to breakfast to sweets and granola bars.
