| bphop's Full Review: Katz's Deli |
What I love the most about Katz's is their is no wait. The line moves as fast as you move, and move fast you must. Their are about 4 lines for sandwiches, 2 lines for hotdogs, 1 for beer, 1 for french fries, and 1 for sodas. The seating is communal tables, but if you go during off hours you pretty much can have one for yourself. The Pastrami here is awesome, just enough spices, and tenderness. Everything is hand cut and that makes for a marvelous texture feel in your mouth. The fries and perfectly crisp and hot, and the hotdogs have that delicious snap to them. I felt so at ease at this place I realized more restaurants in NYC should be more like this - comfort food for the soul.
