Jewish style deli in New York cannot be beaten. This is true and real delicatessan made in the best manner possible. The sandwiches are piled a mile high with which ever meat you choose. The side orders of potato salad, cole slaw, or stuffed derma (kishka) are truly an epicurian treat.
The restaurant itself is not at all appealing. It looks like a cafeteria and does not offer table service. The area of downtown New York City where this restaurant is located is one of the blights of the city. It seems to be in a dangerous, rundown location. If one is willing to travel to this area of the city I highly recommend dining here. Try the corned beef sandwich, it's delicious!
