I usually steep fresh kava when it can be found but if nowhere around, this Gaia Herbs Kava Kava 60 liquid phytocaps is sufficient as it is made from fresh not dried leaves. If you are using powder and not this liquid, please add one tablespoon of powder to 1 cup of water, but sometimes as much as a half a cup of powder (eight tablespoons) is added per cup of water to increase potency.

This 1 capsule 3x daily between meals is way too much for me but it is directed and your doctor can adjust accordingly. Maximum time of use: one month is a suggested on label of brown bottle but I only take as needed and not even every week. Serving size is 3 and there is 20 servings per bottle . . .

I found taking the Gaia Herbs Kava Kava 60 Capsule is a less expensive avenue of wellness & stress reduction that will induce calm better than some of the heavy duty prescription anti-depressants out here which have side effects and might get you halfway to well.

This natural calm has no jitters or wooziness or fainting or frothing at the mouth (I know extreme but synthetics are hard to metabolize). Anyway with Gaia Herbs you are receiving highest quality standardized herbs and oils for supplement and curing needs.

When other companies I buy herbal preparations from are out of the specifics I seek, I can count on Gaia to have it on hand. The delivery is satisfactory, the time wait none longer than stated and quality, superb !
