Pros:Soothing. Also seems to help congestion. Doesn't hurt anyway.
Cons:A little oily and messy. Must own hot water vaporizer.
The Bottom Line: If you use a hot steam vaporizer, give Kaz a try. It makes the air more soothing.
I managed to catch a really nasty cold. When I was at CVS, I noticed Kaz Inhalant - Steam Activation.

Kaz is used with steam vaporizers. It will work with any brand that has a steamer cup or dip in front of the steam blower. My vaporizer is a Vicks, and it does have the cup. I've put tea tree oil in there. That's good. But Kaz seems to help more.
Do not pour this down in the water in the vaporizer. It's not meant to be used that way and could gunk up the vaporizer motor.
Kaz includes menthol in mineral oil. The menthol drifts out in the air leaving the mineral oil in the cup. So it is kind of messy. The vaporizer cup needs to be cleaned after each use. Just wipe out with a cotton ball and then wipe with a wet cloth.
Kaz Inhalant is not meant to be a medication. It's just meant to be soothing, but I do think herbals help with colds and stopped up noses.
If you've ever used Vicks Vapor Rub (which I also used with this bad cold), that's the smell you get (or close) with Kaz. If you don't like the smell of Vicks, then you won't like this, because it envelopes the whole house.
