UPDATE! We like it so much we are getting a second for our new baby! UPDATE
Bottom line is Kelty knows how to design and build outdoor gear with the most comprehensive set of usable and well executed features. And that carries over to the Joyrider 20.
It has more features than B.O.B. You do not need shocks. That is a gimmick. Shocks actually make it harder to go over curbs and bumps! 20 inch wheels absorb the shock and enable it to go off road much better than the B.O.B. with 16's. Compare the harness, the canopy, and the rear wheel triangle build quality. And continue from there.
The frame is all aluminum. No plastic sleeves connecting the components. Three quick release wheels. The seat is super comfortable. The harness system is excellent and infinitely adjustable. Velcro everywhere to hold open or closed various parts. Two cup holders. Key hook. Storage pocket in seat back and under the seat. Safety tether. The front fender REALLY covers the wheel, keeping your baby's feet clear. And the split handle bars are really ergonomic.
It folds and opens in a second. Wheels on and off in a second. And it gets REAL small.
No it does not recline. But if you check the ones that do they just bounce around a lot. They actually have less support. My child is 19 months old and the seat position is perfect for him. He falls asleep no problem.
And the 20 inch wheels will allow it to go anywhere.
This is the best, period. Without a doubt the best and sturdiest build quality, best ergonomics, best harness, most complete set of usable features easiest to assemble, easiest to open and close. I believe you can not go wrong with the Kelty Joyrider 20.
