I've bought at least 20 units of this washer for a realty firm and I have not been impressed at all. Although this is the newer version of the models we used to buy, the new design shows very little consideration for the consumer's needs & convenience.

For example, this newer model is taller, which leaves less room for opening the washer lid if you have a dryer directly above it.
Also, this model is LONGER, which means your laundry closet door may not even be usable with this model.
I have to say that I don't think that ergonomics where ever brought up during the design process either. The buttons are on top of the machine in the back! If you have a dryer directly over this washer (stacked) that makes it very difficult to use the button pad or even see which buttons you are pushing!
Also, I wasn't impressed with the electronics, either. There is no way to force this machine to drain! You have to let it run through an entire cycle before it will drain.
Finally, the issue of maintenance definitely MUST be considered. For this model, even with the 20 units that we've purchased, there have already been several incidents which required minor parts to be replaced. It's more of a headache issue, really, but when you consider all the afore mentioned grievances it definitely becomes a considerable factor.
If you have room for only stacked washer/dryer sets in your laundry closet, I recommend going for a one-piece stacked unit (aka Laundry Centers). In my experience, they have a much better track record, although they are heavier to move.
Amount Paid (US$): 425.00
