I purchased the Kenmore compact washing machine to replace my hi-effeciency Eurotech washer, which was plagued with problems from day one.  I needed something that would fit in a small space, but didn't cost too much and this Kenmore model fit the bill.

It holds more clothes than I anticipated and gets them very clean.  Moving from a hi-effeciency washer back to a regular model has left me shocked on the amount of water required for a regular load, but what could I expect.

This unit is sturdy, reliable, and does what it claims.  It does not have a spin only option, which annoyed me when I washed some rugs.  The rugs had the drum out of balance, so it didn't spin.  After rearranging the load, I was unable to spin so had to run through another full cycle.
