Pros: It worked great for about 7 months. 

Cons: Sear's customer service stinks.

The Bottom Line: Do not buy this washer.  It is a piece of junk.

jpascuzzi's Full Review: Kenmore HE2 Plus Front Load Washer
I purchased the Kenmore HE2 washer & dryer in March of 2008.  When it works it us great.  In October the gasket started leaking and it was making a racket during the spin cycle.  A week after this started the repairman came (Oct 10) and told me the counterweight broke off and he ordered parts and labor costing over $600.  The washer only cost $799.  One week later the parts were backordered and it ended up being another week before it was repaired.  I was out of a washer for over 3 weeks. 

On November 24 the machine started making noise again and I found gray dust on the floor in front.  I new the counterweight had broken again.  The repairman came on the 28th, ordered another $506 in parts and labor.  Today, December 3, I got another call stating the parts are on backorder and they have no idea when they will be getting them. 

I called Kenmore customer service and was told to call Sear's part dept.  I spoke to the part dept and was told to call customer relations.  I spoke to customer relations and was told the exact same thing.  I got no where with no one.  I even said I would call my attorney if it would get some action.  Nothing. 

Do not buy this piece of junk and if you do do not expect Sears or Kenmore to do anything about your problems.
