| lrarroyo's Full Review: Kenmore Elite Oasis 27087 Stainless Steel Top Load... |
We selected this machine because of the Kenmore quality and the great experiences we have had over many years. I didn't want a front loader since you are forced to purchase the pedestals unless you want to work 12" off the floor. We purchased both the washer and dryer set. The washer is taller and deeper than regular size models. Anyone shorter that 5'4" will have problems reaching the bottom of the tub. I love the fact that I can now legally abuse the machine with large amounts of clothing. At first the thought of longer wash times concerned me but I have found that with the machines ability to estimate wash time based on the amount of clothes, washing and drying goes a lot faster. With a family of 7 this is important for me. I love the ability to wash large and bulky bedding without the worry of breaking the machine or damaging the fabrics. I have not had the same problems as many others have noted although I've only had them for a little over a month. I also purchased the 5 year service warranty just in case. It definitely does ring out more water which translates to less drying time. If you separate all the clothes before putting them in the dryer that seems to eliminate the wrinkle problem. So far I would recommend this system to others.
