Pros: Contemporary design, huge drum, easy-to-understand controls.
Cons: Slightly louder than expected. Drum light could be a little higher.
The Bottom Line: I would definitely purchase this dryer again because it's efficient, well built and attractive.

| nicerobot's Full Review: Kenmore 67032 Electric Dryer |
My past two wonderful dryers have been Kenmores so it was kind of a no-brainer when I purchased this one.
The electronic controls are extremely easy to understand and if you're drying a normal load of clothes (mixture of fabrics), you just have to push two buttons - "On" and "Start." All the regular selections are available too including time and air dry, cotton, delicates, etc.).
Overall the Oasis does a great job of drying clothes quickly and efficiently. The electronic sensor is rather good at determining when clothes are dry as long as the settings appropriate for the type of fabric you're drying. This is especially important if you're drying heavier fabrics such as cotton towels where the heat setting has to be higher to dry them in a reasonable amount of time. I like to be informed of my load's progress and a handy digital display shows approximately how many minutes are remaining until the end of the cycle. I make a point of saying 'approximately' though because in auto dry mode, the dryer occasionally adjusts the time remaining in the cycle (adding or subtracting minutes) as it continually checks the dampness of the clothes.
I only had a couple of minor grievances regarding this dryer. I did find the dryer louder then I was expecting and definitely louder than my previous two dryers. The dryer is in a separate laundry room however and with the door to that room closed, the low frequency rumble is substantially reduced. I would think twice however about installing it in the immediate vicinity of a living area unless it can be closed off by a solid door. Another minor complaint is that the light on the rear drum wall is a little too low and medium to large loads of dry clothes completely block it during unloading until a portion of the clothes are removed. This is only really a minor complaint though.
