Just plain cool!

What could be wrong with a toaster and microwave in one unit? Nothing that I could see. My husband and I bought the toastNwave simply because we thought it was just plain cool, and it is.
My husband and I just bought a new home, so we were appliance shopping. Not necessarily for microwaves or toasters, but when I saw the toastNwave I couldn't help but buy it. Who wouldn't like a digital toaster- no more light/medium/dark. Now you can set the exact amount of time that you want your toast or bagel to cook. Not only that it has a unique horizontal design. You pull the door toward you and the toast slides right out. That was the first time I didn't have to go fishing with a butter knife for my english muffin in a long time. I also enjoyed the mess control. All of the crumbs are contained in a removable tray at the bottom of the toaster, just slide it out and dump it in the trash- how much easier could it get?
The microwave works great too. The turntable works wonderful for even cooking/defrosting. The inside is pretty big also at .9cubic feet. I haven't tried to cook anything that I couldn't fit in it.
The controls are pretty easy for both the microwave and the toaster. The toaster has the choices of Toast/Bagel; you can choose as dark or as light as you choose. A little green light comes on so you know when it starts and when it is done. How much easier could it get.
The microwave is pretty simple as far as microwaves go. You can choose an automatic defrost- simply enter the weight of what you are defrosting. It also has automatic choices of dinner plate/ popcorn/ potato/ fresh vegie/ frozen entree/ or beverage. You can also just choose a time, if you prefer. I also really appreciated the add minute button. I hate microwaves that don't allow you to add time without stopping the microwave and restarting. With the toast and wave it couldn't be easier.
The appearance of the toastNwave is pretty cool too. I bought the black model (also available in white) because it went better with my kitchen. It is a great conversation piece if nothing else, as not many people have seen a toaster/microwave combo in one.
I couldn't complain about the price. I paid $110 for ours brand new, which is very reasonable for just a plain microwave, not to mention a toaster and microwave in one.
We have had our toastNwave for about 5 months and so far I have no complaints whatsoever about it. In fact I have been pretty darn impressed. I would recommend to anyone who is shopping for a microwave to consider the toastNwave. Ditch your toaster; free up a little more counter space (who couldn't use a little more of that), and add a new look to your kitchen. You won't regret it, I certainly don't.
