I have had this trackball for about 7 months now and it's one of the best $100 investments i've made. I went through every device on the market at the time and this takes the cake! I was primarily looking for a trackball/mouse device that was comfortable to use for extended periods of time being I experienced tendonitis flare ups. This device allows me to swap hands and use my left (i'm a hard core righty) with ease, giving my right hand a break if i ever need it. Even using my trusty right is extremely comfortable due to the large trackball, heavy "feel" (you'll know what i mean if you try it out ;-)), and it's centered position, NOT forcing your hand in any unnatural position.
As far as cleaning goes, I initially had to clean it about once a week for accurate pointing, but it mysteriously "adjusted" somehow to a point where I haven't needed to clean it in months!
Kensington service is excellent as well. I lost a soft cushion that the device sits on, and after calling support up, they sent a whole bag in days. (This is actually 1 of a few stories with excellent support from Kensington and their other devices.) Now if they would just design an optical device! Oh sweet heaven...!
The device is just darn tootin' excellent.
I recommend it HIGHLY if you are a heavy computer user.
