Cons: tragic internal flaw makes it a piece of junk!

This is a great deck in terms of design and overall quality,,so it seemed. It has one tragic flaw,,it has a problem overheating internally. The display's ribbon connector goes bad and one day you will lose the display and sound out of nowhere. This happens to them all,,it is just a matter of when. You can purchase the parts from Kenwood for around $20 dollars to fix it,,or pay them $80+ to fix it each time. The new parts will only allow it to work again for a limited time. I can't help but feel burned by Kenwood on this issue. BEWARE: Do not buy the KDC-MP 919 if you want a reliable stereo!
