Pros: Many decoders, Nice RF remote, Good Display, Full sound
Cons: Doesn't seem like 100 watts
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this receiver for anyone looking for a sturdy, functional and up-to-date receiver. It has many features that are not offered on comparable units.

| cdshot's Full Review: Kenwood VR-6060 6.1 Channels Receiver |
To begin the first one I purchased from B and H was defective (the surround back channel did not work), but they had no problem with me making an exchange. The setup was very easy. The receiver has many inputs for just about anything you would want to hook up to it. The sound is very clean. This receiver also powers the surrounds with plenty of power. One thing is that it does not seemed to put out the same kind of power my Sony puts out but I never listen to it that loud anyway. It has never given me any trouble with its auto decoder detection it has always been right. The menu system is fairly easy to navigate. The heat given of by the unit is not much only if it's driven full bore. The DSP functions are not great but who uses them? It has many little bells and whistles like the multi color display, speaker equalization and others. I would have to say after researching and testing different receivers that this receiver is definitely the best one you can buy for the features and money.
