Pros: -THX-EX for under 200$
-552 watts of power(Tested by S&V Magazine as 92x6 A.C.D)
Cons: None at this level, remote could use macros, but thats getting too picky.
The Bottom Line: The CSII Modes are amazing, better than some receivers matrix modes in the thousand doller ranges.
THX for under 200$ is unheard of.
The RF Remote is very nifty/comfy.

| gonzo_336's Full Review: Kenwood VR-6070 6.1 Channels Receiver |
I Have been using this receiver for about 4 months now, so I would say I have gotten used to it, and gotten to like it VERY much.
Music is FAR better in 5.1 "CSII Music" than "Stereo". The power amp has lots of power, and can push hard to drive speakers, just make sure they are 8 ohms. I run an all Quest speaker system(QT88, QC-5 and Q610)and it pushes these to very loud levels. Available on the net now as a refurb for 189$ is an absolute STEAL!!
Make sure you match up all your speakers, so they all mix, this makes movies much better...speaking of movies, I havent gone to the theater in 4 months, it that good. You cant afford NOT to buy this receiver!!!
For Xbox fans(make sure you have the 5.1 kit)Halo in 5.1 is unbeleivable, as well as tons of other games. The marines talk all around you, and it really helps as you can hear where Elites are when they try to sneak up on you.
The Circle Surround II modes are awsome for making my VHS into 6.1, they make Pink Floyd sound like im in the studio.
In Closing, I think this is the BEST receiver that Kenwood ever made, it has everything you could want for 189$, you cant expect much more, actually I expected alot less, but was pleasently surprised.
and of course, Kenwood Rules!!
