Pros: Has just about everything you could want in a low/mid priced AV receiver
Cons: Takes a while to set up and adjust, runs warm, manual could be better
The Bottom Line: Try it out and I'm sure it'll find a home in your audio rack!

| zaboz's Full Review: Kenwood VR-6070 6.1 Channels Receiver |
I researched this receiver and decided that for the price, it would meet most of my needs. I am in no way an audiophile but I know what I like and I like the VR 6070. After setting it up I played as many digital sources I could find and all were reproduced to perfection. I've owned it for about a week now and the manual is getting dog eared from use. There's a lot to learn but overall it's fun and the end results are great. The only down side is realizing you need optical patch cables and having to wait until you can pick them up to enjoy the 5.1 DD.
If you're still doubtful, go to CC or BB and try it out for a couple weeks and decide for yourself.
