I have had a keurig 704 for several months now and I love it! I have seen some negative reviews about the pump breaking and I suspect these people may be using tap water to fill it. The instructions recommend bottled or filtered water. We bought a special water filter for our tap instead of buying bottled water and so far that is working for us. I visited my sister in law over Christmas 2010 and she had this model and I fell in love with it there and bought one as soon as I could. I much prefer having a hot, freshly brewed cup of coffee every time instead of keeping a pot warm and throwing out what I didn't drink every day. There is certainly less waste with a keurig! I buy the k-cups for convenience but also make my own k-cups with the refillable gadget you can buy. That saves on money, but for me, the k-cups offer a better richer flavor. And if you love your morning jolt like I do, that rich flavor is a make it or break it deal for you! All in all, I recommend getting a keurig, and if possible, get the hard to find machine that offers 5 different cup sizes, but at the very least, get the easier to find model that offers 3 cups sizes. I admit I don't use all 5 sizes that often, but just knowing they are there for grandkids visits (hot coco) is a good feeling.
