Pros: Three settings. Designed to grow with baby. Feet and/or hands can stimulate music and lights.
Cons: Too loud, music too overstimulating, hard for longer babies to use.
The Bottom Line: If you are looking for a toy for a young baby to use I think this one is too loud and overstimulating and would recommend a different product.

| JEA115's Full Review: Kick ?n Drive Gym 73739 |
I received this toy as a gift after I told someone I would like to have a baby gym. Unfortunately, there are many things about this particular gym that I am not happy with as opposed to others I've seen or used with my other children.
First, it is way too loud. I've placed a piece of scotch tape over the speaker because it was so loud it scared my baby. You might be better off finding a similar toy with a volume button, if one exists. Second, we (me AND my baby) can only stand the music for a short time. I think the company had fun songs in mind (as an alternative to their symphony toy) but it's really just too much, it sounds like you are on a ride at the county fair. My third complaint is the size of the toy. I have a very long baby (born 21 inches but was 23.5 at his six week checkup) and though I think the idea behind kicking the board at the end to stimulate the toy is fun for him, his arms are too far back to try to get to the hand toys. If I scoot him up so he can bat at the toys, his feet are crammed against the foot board, which makes him mad (not to mention sets off the music again). One last thing I don't like is the spinning bar at the top of the toy--mine squeaks when it turns!
I still try this toy every few days to see if maybe he just needs to be older to enjoy it, but he's 12 weeks now and can still only stand to play with it for three or four minutes before he's crying. There is a Gymini toy at church that he'll grin and coo at for close to a half hour, so I finally broke down and bought one myself.
This toy does have three settings, one of which is the "drive" option. The handle swings up and an older baby or toddler can use the wheel to pretend to drive the toy. Maybe when he gets older he'll enjoy it more, but if you are looking for something for a younger baby, I would recommend something else.
