Yep, does double time in the potty at our house. We're still working on pooping in the potty here, but we've got peeing down. He used the stool to reach the potty with the early stages of peeing, now uses it to climb onto the potty. After he's up there, I pull it over and sit on it for the duration (which can sometimes be 10 minutes with nothing at all happening). I've also used it to step on to peer over the top shelf of the linen closet. No stick feet never failed, and never buckled under any stress. This thing is WELL worth its cost.
Great review!

bought this for my little girl when she was potty training. Now it's used all over the house to "reach" things - the light switches, to look over the crib to check on the baby, etc.
However it hurts when you kick it with bare feet in the middle of the night! %&*#$
Nice review!

We decided to buy a 2nd stool when Mollie, Arik, and Lorraine began to fight over the first one. LOL It was the only one they had at Walmart, but it seems to work just fine. Great review!

Jason,
I understand completely. Alex learned that he could use an unopened 12 pack of soda as a stepstool to get up and reach the counter. He also learned if he stacked them then he could reach the freezer!!!!! Ah....the joy of a 3 year old!!!

This looks like something that could be a problem... (Reply to this comment)

in our house. Our (almost) three year old is already using everything he can as a step up to the table, counters, etc. As long as it is a place he is not supposed to go, he tries to get there!
This would maybe help him out in his endeavors! At least if he was using this he would be safe, rather than a cardboard box turned upside down... May need to look into it!

Nice Review (Reply to this comment)

A few months ago I picked one of these up at a yard sale. I needed a little boost in the kitchen to reach some of my cupboards.
Although it's designed for a child, it has held my weight just fine. It's been a great little addition to my kitchen.
