Pros: Nice size, great price, easy to fill and empty.
Cons: Not for babies who can't sit up on their own.
The Bottom Line: This is a great, sturdy, inexpensive tub for babies who have outgrown bath cradles, but who are too small for a grownup bath.

| bibliowench's Full Review: Kids Ii Soft & Safe Inflatable Baby Bath Tub |
Until my son was 4 months old, we bathed him in a First Years baby bathtub. Around this time, however, he had outgrown the cradle seat inside the tub, and he was too restless to put up with lying prone for any length of time. The tub converted into a bath seat, but he hated the confinement. It also seemed like a waste to fill up the entire adult bathtub to bathe such a small person.
I picked up the Kids II inflatable bathtub at Wal-Mart selecting it primarily because I didn't want to invest a lot of money in yet another baby tub. Fortunately, I have gotten more than my money's worth. For my baby, the tub has transformed bathtime from a tedious, if not anxious, routine into the best playtime of the day.
He loves his bath because the water gives him a wonderful sense of mobility, while its walls provide enough support that he doesn't slide underwater. Even before he could crawl, he could maneuver himself 360 degrees around tub. And while he was having fun with his new sense of freedom, I (eventually - see below) didn't have to keep my hands on him to keep him from sliding underwater. He could sit in the tub as well as he could sit on dry land, leaving me with two free hands to wash him. Bathtime no longer seems like a juggling act (except now when he wants to stand up in the tub - but I don't know of any product that can counter that particular baby impulse.)
The tub was easy to inflate, with a valve to keep the air from escaping as you are blowing it up. It's a good size, small enough to support a baby and large enough to give him some play room. We have been able to hang it by the drain opening on a plastic hook on the bathroom wall, and so far we've avoided any mildew.
Emptying the bathtub is easy. I can either open the drain in the bottom, which I like doing while baby is still in the tub so I can dry him off in the bath, or I can just tip the tub over (after removing baby, of course) since it's light enough. Yet while it's in use, the weight of both the water and the baby keeps the tub itself from sliding around in our bathtub.
I would not, however, recommend this tub for babies who cannot sit up well on their own. The bottom of the tub has no traction, so it is very easy for a baby to slide underwater if he or she is an unstable sitter. The first few baths, I had to keep one hand on my wobbly son, but as his sitting muscles strengthened, he needed my support less and less.
