Pros: Great Read. Hard to put down. Leads to openings for other books
Cons: Sometimes a little drawn out. But having to lay ground work for the next book
The Bottom Line: This is a wonderful read. Draws a person into the world of shifters and fantasy.

| sbennick's Full Review: Rebecca York - Killing Moon |
Thick gray hair formed on the flake, covering his body in a silver-tip pelt. The color - the very structure - of his eyes changed as he dropped to all fours, no longer a man but an animal far more suited to the forest around him....
Meet Ross Marshall, Private investigator, a man of many talents. One of which, lets him track and locate missing persons when the polices trail goes cold... This time his special talent leads him to the dead body of a missing young woman and a serial killer
..Also the love of his life. His mate!
I was hooked the very moment I picked this book up at my local Wal-Mart. Ruth Glick writing as Rebecca York has created a story of romance suspense. Written in June 2003 for Berkley Sensation, this is the first in a series of 8 books. (Number 8 to come out May 2008).
With 330 pages and a cover price of $6.99, this book was well worth the cost.
I have always been drawn to the Paranormal/Sci-Fi/Mystery style books. This one was calling my name from the moment I seen in on the shelf. The thought of shifters ( someone who changes form) as always held appeal to me. " Killing Moon " takes you into another world. The world of fantasy.
Ruth Glick has written a truly wonderful book. One I highly suggest to family and friends. This is a keeper
