Pros: Comfortable for the first few months
Cons: The bed has sagged massively and is hard as a rock!
The Bottom Line: Don't buy this mattress! It sags! It's hard! It's heavy! And did I mention this already? IT SAGS!!! It's a terrible mattress.

| rumtim2's Full Review: Kingsdown Ultimate Pillow Top |
My husband and I shopped far and wide looking for a pocket coil mattress to replace our regular sprung mattress... his tossing and turning was bouncing me all over the place in the night. We settled on a Kingsdown because it was the most comfortable and non-bouncy bed we had come across in a few weeks of mattress shopping.
We bought a king size mattress (which still isn't big enough for 2 adults, 2 kids and 2 cats). The delivery guys sweated buckets trying to get this monster up the stairs. I read the instructions and realized we'd have to flip the beast once a month for the first 6 months. Not easy, the thing weighs a ton.
All was well for the first few months. Then I noticed that in spite of all that strenuous flipping, the mattress was starting to sag. Specifically it was sagging in 2 big body shaped indentations where my husband and I sleep. The middle of the mattress is the top of the hill and we sleep in valleys. This is not good for cuddling, sex, or sleeping with toddlers as they roll right into one or the other of us. Yes we should kick them out to their own beds but we're soft touches.
We kept on thinking that more flipping would help the sag issue. Now after 2 and a half years, it's totally too late to get an exchange to our utter regret. On top of the fact that it is sagging enormously (which the booklet said was "the mattress conforming to our individual body shapes" HA!)(by the way we're average weight people), yes on top of that, the sagging parts have compressed so hard that it is like sleeping on a board. I have back aches from this stupid bed all the time. In short, I hate it. HATE IT! I think my husband would concur.
I put layers of cardboard and then a memory foam topper on the mattress in an attempt to soften and de-sag it, but it hasn't helped much. Soon we are going to get a futon. We'll put the foam topper on that and it will be a flat comfortable non-bouncy sleep. I can hardly wait.
