| tsundere's Full Review: Kingsdown Upholstered Bedding |
This is regarding Kingsdown's Body System mattress. We got this mattress from Sleepy's after taking their b/s diagnostics test. (Total crap don't fall for it!!) It said we needed the least firm mattress and we tried a few and it seemed really nice. However the mattress was delivered 2 nights ago and after the first night I started having lower back pain that I've NEVER had before. I'm 24 years old I'm not even supposed to have this kind of back pain yet!!
In addition, the mattress smells like some kind of rat poison mixed with urine. I read online that it's supposed to have that smell that should go away after a couple of days but 2 days in it still stinks. I must have sprayed Febreeze on my bed 10 times to be able to lay down.
I'm going back to sleepy's to exchange it for a firmer mattress and a different brand. It was really stupid of me to not read any reviews and just go with what those sleezy store sales reps tell me.
My back still hurts and sleeping on the floor is more comfortable than this nightmare of a bed. I dread goign to bed every night now and I don't have an alternative like a couch to sleep on because I live in a tiny studio. Please do yourself and your back a favor and steer clear of this mattress brand as well as Sleepy's!
