Like the others who posted, it also took me about a few days to get used to this mattress. Ever since I can remember, I've slept on my stomach which often resulted in a very puffy face....especially during allergy season. However, once I got used to it, I started sleeping on my back automatically and woke up without any stiffness at all!! It normally takes me about 1/2 an hour to wake up, but now I'm up and running very quickly. It was surprising to hear the negative comments from some of the people here, but for me and many others this mattress is worth it's weight in gold. I've never written a review for anything in my life, but started investigating what made this mattress so special and found this site. I'd highly recommend this mattress for anyone who suffers from lower back pain and/or stiff neck, as well as those who have always thought sleeping on their stomach was a good thing. I do like a softer mattress, but the memory foam was way too soft. Firm mattresses were even worse. I'll make sure when it's time to buy a new one, I'll definitely buy another Kingsdown. My only complaint is that they were hard to find. Not many businesses sell them. Hopefully when it's time for a new one, Kingdown will receive the recognition they deserve and my search won't be so difficult. ;-) My one complaint is that they allow other companies to take credit by allowing them to put their own brand name on the Kingsdown product. Makes finding one almost impossible unless you live near one of the few retailers who sell it.
